Remember, you're in a war, and the battle begins the moment your eyes open each morning.

6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. (Hoses 4:6)

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8).

Peter was speaking from experience; remember that Jesus once called him to be vigilant because the devil had planned to destroy him but he never heeded not until he was tempted, he fell and then wept so bitterly, so he’s speaking to us from experience.

“After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.” (Job 3:1)

20 “Why is light given to those in misery,
   and life to the bitter of soul,
21 to those who long for death that does not come,
   who search for it more than for hidden treasure,
22 who are filled with gladness
   and rejoice when they reach the grave?
23 Why is life given to a man
   whose way is hidden,
   whom God has hedged in?
24 For sighing has become my daily food;
   my groans pour out like water.
25 What I feared has come upon me;
   what I dreaded has happened to me.
26 I have no peace, no quietness;
   I have no rest, but only turmoil.” (Job 3:20-26)

1 Then Job replied:

  2 “If only my anguish could be weighed
   and all my misery be placed on the scales!
3 It would surely outweigh the sand of the seas—
   no wonder my words have been impetuous. (Job 6:1-3)

Why have you refused to get saved? Were it not for God who is still giving you a chance the devil would have destroyed you by now. But you say you are born again but there is no peace in your family, the devil is constantly manipulating you – misfortunes, failures, poverty, backwardness, etc are all familiar issues in your life. It is time to get the devil out of the way and move forward!

Can’t you say like Jacob: 26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” (Genesis 32:26)

But if choose to live a life of sin; then you’ve sold yourself over to the devil.

19 “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:19-20).

14 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. (Hebrews 2:14-15).

“The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” (1 John 3:8).

You will defeat the arc enemy if you are righteous with God

“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” (Proverb 28:1).

“If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.” (Exodus 23:22)
