“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8).
Pre- marital chastity is a necessity of a happy marriage.
Rebecca was a very beautiful girl, a virgin no man had ever lain with her: “The girl was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had ever lain with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again.” (Genesis 24:16). Let us encourage virginity in our society today.
Holiness prevents guilt later in life, and guilt is caused by violation personal standards and breaking God’s law.
Holiness makes us to be emotionally stable and not making unnecessary and impure proposals to opposite sex
H- humility :- Do not underrate any body. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.” (Philippians 2:3).
“Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!” (Philippians 2:6-9).
“For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?” (1 Corinthians 4:7).
O- Obedience :- Obedience they say is better than sacrifice, people will avoid you if you are rude. “Do everything without complaining or arguing,” (Philippians 2:14). So people complain too much and I’m sure they might also complain if they make to heaven.
L- Love : - Love from your heart, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. “For out of the hearts comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander” (Matthew 15:19).
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13:3-9).
