Preparing for the harvest of blessing
Song:
I just want to be where You are,
dwelling daily in Your presence
I don't want to worship from afar,
draw me near to where You are
draw me near to where You are
dwelling in Your presence
Feasting at Your table,
surrounded by Your glory
In Your presence,
that's where I always want to be
I just want to be,
I just want to be with You
A. Introduction
I think is vitally important that you know:
i. You're on a temporary visa; never forget that! Weigh your actions and your decisions in the light of your ultimate destiny, not your immediate comfort. Get rid of the idea that 'thoughts of heaven are only the pleasantries of the aging.' This life is the short story; heaven is the unending one. (Philippians 3:20).

iii. Your life is a gift from God; how you live it is your gift to Him and ensuing generations. Whatever you'd like to accomplish in your life...do it today. Don't put it off. Remember you will not live forever. (Proverbs 20:29).
So we should be careful not to be preoccupied with what we shall eat, the clothes to wear, and the all sorts of worldly pleasures. We should also make out time to think of our spiritual wellbeing and life after death.
“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” (1 Corinthians 15:19).
25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
(Matthew 13:25; 39).
12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. 15 As has just been said:
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:12-15)
6 Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-7).
Conclusion:
Where will you spend your eternity?
God bless you
